Influenced by legends Erykah Badu, Tyler the Creator, Andre 3000, and Biggie, DariusThaSagittarius plays up his musical versatility by balancing the old-school style of alert messages with a new, bass-heavy trap sound.

DTS and his longtime friend  Tyrell "Magic Rell" Gabriel co-founded the Houston based hip-hop collective HOUliGANZ in 2016. The group released their debut mixtape, HOUliGANZ Vol.1, in January of 2018. It included their top played songs "When Tha Time's Right" and "Come N' Geaux." DariusThaSagittarius and his hip-hop collective opened for Bone Thugz N Harmony, YFN Lucci, and TisaKorean. They also made various appearances at the SXSW Music festival since 2018.

Arriving off the tail end of the limelight he received during his time with HOUliGANZ, DariusThaSagittarius found further development on his solo EP SAGABOND. His music has been praised by a wide range of musicians, producers, and music lovers alike, for successfully blending a diverse sound. DariusThaSagittarius awaken his supporters to manifest the metaphysical. He shares, "Understand your thoughts are more than some whimsical passing idea. They can be manifested into realities if you put in the effort.”
